Hello
Below, you’ll learn more about the leaders behind Wheels4Valor and the experience they bring to the mission.

This program is led by two seasoned leaders—one with decades of senior military leadership and community advocacy, and the other with real-world automotive expertise gained from the inside of the industry. Together, we’re here to make the process easier, fairer, and more personal—so you can move forward with confidence.

Command Chief Master Sergeant
Mike Ferraro (Retired)

As President and Founder for Bridging The Gap for Veterans Foundation, an IRS Fully Determined 501C3 non-profit, Mike is an accomplished senior enlisted military leader whose talents extend into the corporate world and as an entrepreneur.

He has an exceptional record of achievements over his military career that has transitioned into his civilian life. From leading business ventures, cultivating long term business relationships and partnerships, to creating revenue generating programs, Mike has been successful leading from the front.

As a former resident of Howell, New Jersey, Mike enlisted in the Air Force in 1982. During the culmination of nearly 32 years of honorable military service in both the active and reserve components, Mike achieved the highest enlisted rank of Command Chief Master Sergeant in the United States Air Force. Before his retirement from military service in June 2013, he had leadership oversight of nearly 28,000 Airmen at Numbered Air Force levels at 18 military worldwide bases, at Wing and Squadron levels, and participated in numerous overseas missions involving combat airlift operations, wartime readiness campaigns, humanitarian airlifts and strategic policy force development and employer outreach.
At Bridging the Gap, he leads “Salute to Service” programs and services designed to offer the military community a Right Start after serving our Nation. As a founding member of Wheels4Valor by Vanta Signature, he engages the military and veteran population to help purchase a vehicle at a fair price with white glove service.
Because of his exceptional leadership talents, Mike was appointed in 2025 to the New Jersey Governor’s Veteran Commission Council representing all veterans across the state on quality-of-life programs and services. In 2020, he was appointed as the New Jersey Chairman of the Employer Support for the Guard and Reserve (Nj ESGR) with oversight of 80 volunteers and 1 fulltime staff. He earned an M.
